RADAR cruised to another excellent Worcester League division two victory at Littleworth last Sunday and both teams should have really scored more goals.
LITTLEWORTH 1, MALVERN RADAR 9
Lee Hooper put Radar 2-0 up after just 15 minutes, converting two easy chances, and then Chris Grubb added a third with a nice finish from 10 yards.
Littleworth were unlucky not to score in the early exchanges with Jeff Woodward firing a 30-yard screamer against the post. Lee Sheridan also hit the post before Woodward pulled a goal back when he knocked-in Nick Buckley's right-wing cross.
Radar then took control with Clive Churchill scoring from the penalty spot and Hooper completing his hat-trick after running the home defence ragged with a mazey run. An own goal made it 6-1 at half-time.
The first 20 minutes of the second half were a bit scrappy before substitute Lee Brookes scored from close range and then Gary Harman scored probably the best goal of the game with an excellent shot from the corner of the penalty box.
Radar's Matt Brookes then rifled a shot against the underside of the bar before Hooper scored the ninth with 10 minutes remaining. Only good saves from goalkeepers Steve Green and Nick Sheridan prevented further scoring.
On Sunday, Radar are away to New Inn Claines, meeting RSRE Club 9.30am.
