THE draw for the semi-finals of the Malvern Table Tennis League handicap competition has been made.
The main event is dominated by three division two teams. The final quarter-final saw Poolbrook Juniors continue their good league form to ease home by a 17 point margin over CSSC Ramblers. Crucial to the victory were the points gained by Graham Collier and Matt Lang over Dave Hayes.
Juniors will now play another Poolbrook-based team, Crackpots E, in one semi-final whilst Broadheath Bellters will be up against Abbeydowne of division three.
Division one teams are well represented in the secondary semi-finals and there will be intense rivalry when Ledbury Merlins take on Ledbury Lions. In the other tie, Manor Park Pumas will be playing Manor Park Crackpots.
The finals will be played on Tuesday, April 19 at the Civil Service Sports and Social Club starting at 7.30pm. Spectators are welcome.
