EIGHT free lessons are on offer at one of the town's leading, and longest established, martial arts clubs.

Malvern Taekwondo is a successful martial arts club and runs in association with Action International Martial Arts Association (AIMAA).

It was established in 1985 by Kevin Summers, 5th Degree Black Belt, also vice-chairman of AIMAA UK and chief instructor at Malvern Taekwondo Schools.

Since then clubs have opened up in Welland, Ledbury, Worcester, Hereford, Leominster, Abergavenny, Droitwich, Great Barr and Dudley, all under the Malvern Schools bracket.

Malvern Taekwondo is a friendly, family orientated club which focuses on building confidence, respect and a level of discipline to all students.

Students can participate in tournaments and seminars where they can then share their knowledge and experience with other students and put what they've learnt into practice.

Malvern Taekwondo have many students based at The Chase school on a Tuesday and Thursday night. All students are treated as individuals and work within their own limitations.

The training incorporates fitness, stretching, philosophy, nutrition, dynamic kicking and punching. The abilities of each student are different, working hard at your own level is a reward in itself.

If you have ever been interested in doing a martial art or would like to try something different, Taekwondo is the way to go.

You can make new friends, learn new things and you can do it as an individual or as a family.

Anyone can do it, regardless of fitness or age and Malvern Schools offers anybody who is interested eight free lessons before you join, so you're not committing to anything and can walk away at any time.
