ANOTHER series of popular guided walks around the historic towns and countryside of Worcestershire starts next month.
Residents interested in learning about the county's varied historic landscape can do so while enjoying a healthy pastime.
"We live in an environment that is shaped to a large degree by its past history and this is a good opportunity to learn how our landscape has evolved," said county archaeologist, Malcolm Atkin. "We hope the walks provide something both for local residents and for more general visitors."
The walks include tours around Berrow (Sunday May 15), Midsummer Hill (June 5), Chateau Impney (June 19) and Elmley Castle (July 3).
They last 2-3 hours, starting at 2pm, and are usually three or four miles long.
The cost is £5 per walk and more information can be found by calling 01905 855455 or emailing doverton@worcestershire.gov.uk
