THE local branch of the RSPCA has a number of street and store collections this year and needs volunteers who can spare an hour or two to help.
We are not funded by our national society and rely upon the generosity of the public to fund the work that we do.
Last year, our branch re-homed well over 400 animals. All needed veterinary treatment and many were old or had been involved in accidents.
Unfortunately, we don't have our own animal centre and board the cats and dogs at privately owned kennels. The small animals are looked after by volunteers.
All this takes a lot of money. Sadly, the number of animals we can help depends upon how much we can raise at events like these.
If you feel you may be able to help us, and would like to receive more details, I would be most grateful if you would please contact me on 01905 454241.

Worcestershire-Mid and Worcester Branch RSPCA
