A PATRIOTIC party to mark St George's Day will be held at a Worcester bar and brasserie next week to raise money for St Richard's Hospice.
English Mutual and Haines Watts have invited around 100 guests from the county's business community to Epic in New Street to enjoy wine and canapes on Thursday, April 21.
Managing director of English Mutual, Alex Morley, said: "The event is an excellent way of getting the local business community involved with St Richard's as we will be able to raise valuable funds while also networking and meeting contacts."
Jon Lewis, a partner in Haines Watts national insolvency practice and Worcester office added: "Everyone's life is in some way touched by cancer, and although recovery rates are constantly improving the care and support that St Richard's provides not only to sufferers, but also carers cannot be underestimated.
St Richard's Hospice fund-raising Manager Tricia Cavell said the event will be a great way for local businesses to help support the work of St Richard's.
