HEADLESS Cross Ladies suffered a 7-1 defeat to high-flying West Bromwich Albion Ladies at the weekend.
West Brom Ladies took the lead after ten minutes and doubled their lead soon after.
Cross hit straight back as Ellicott scored from the penalty spot but another from the Baggies Ladies before half time made it 3-1.
The second half saw West Brom take control scoring four more goals late on.
Cross boss Rob Auld said: "On the day WBA's finishing was far more clinical which made the difference."
Cross take on Stratford tomorrow night before they travel to Telford on Sunday.
