CHADDESLEY Corbett under-8s won the play-offs for third place at Nuneaton's mini-tournament on Sunday.
Corbett, who were unlucky not to make the final, went through the tournament unbeaten.
They defeated Llandaff North 35-0 in the first game, with tries for Daniel Wilde, Declan Hadley (3), Jenny Turner and Harry Morgan.
In game two Corbett defeated Hinckley 20-10, with tries for Hadley (2), Joe Wilson and Wilde.
Corbett then drew with Old Saltleians 20-20 as Wilson (2), Wilde and Hadley scored.
Corbett missed out on the final after drawing with Towchester 20-20.
Despite Harry Morgan (2), Wilde and Hadley scoring Towchester progressed because they opened the try scoring.
Chaddesley then edged Hinckley 35-20 to cement third place, with Hadley (2), Wilson (2), Robins and Wilde touching down.
Corbett's under-9s finished third in Nuneaton's tournament.
They defeated Llandaf North 20-0, with tries for Ross Westwood (2), Sam Needham and Zach Walker.
In game two Corbett won 15-0, with tries for Walker and Westwood (2).
Corbett then drew 0-0 with Old Saltleians.
In the semi-finals they were beaten 5-0 by Northhampton Old Scouts.
But they bounced back to seal third place by defeating Old Salts in the play-offs 15-0.
Louis Ellesmore (2) and Westwood touched down.
