Quorn Reserves 0 Bromsgrove Rovers Reserves 2
ROVERS did their best to keep alive their slight title chances in the Midland Combination Reserves Division with an impressive victory on Saturday.
Victory keeps Rovers top of the table and kept at bay second placed Chasetown and Rushall.
However, Bromsgrove's chances of hanging onto the top spot, which they have kept almost all of the season, rely on Rushall slipping up in their three games in hand.
On Saturday Michael McGrath opened the scoring in the ninth minute.
Courtney Shaw then doubled Rovers' lead in the second half.
Rovers take on Hinckley at home on Saturday (2.45pm kick off).
