A HOST of star names - Peter Bowles, Sian Phillips, Leslie Grantham, Jean Boht, Shirley Anne Field, Susie Amy, Gaby Roslin, Clare Teal and Julian Lloyd Webber - will be coming to Malvern this summer.
As Malvern Theatres unveils its forthcoming programme for the summer season there's a fantastically diverse line up waiting to be experienced.
New names, plays and performances are all there amongst firmly established Malvern favourites.
Hitchcock thriller, Dial M for Murder is to be staged from May 24. John Buchan's gripping romantic whodunnit, The 39 Steps plays from August 1, then, a week later, there's Frederick Knott's thriller Wait until Dark.
At the end of May The Unexpected Man takes to the stage, directly from the West End, followed by Jeffrey Archer's courtroom drama Beyond Reasonable Doubt from June 28.
Opening from August 30 prior to a national tour is Henry James's fascinating story, Daisy Miller, brought magically to life on stage for the first time.
To experience something completely different, see Aurelia's Oratorio on June 1 or 2. In the great tradition of music hall, variety and circus, Aurelia's Oratorio creates an extraordinary concoction of illusion and fantasy. The stage version of When Harry Met Sally comes to the Festival Theatre from July 11. Another classic comedy on offer is Tom Stoppard's Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead from June 7.
