A MOTHER duck has come home to roost in a Droitwich Spa garden and has brought her loyal mate with her.
The female mallard was first spotted last year when she moved into the garden of Don and Valerie Wills' Vines Lane garden taking up a spot surrounding by daffodils.
She gave birth to 12 little ducklings in April last year and then waddled off to Vines Park.
But Valerie was delighted to see her again and her mate who sits just a couple of metres away on a fence.
Valerie said: "We were so happy to see her again. We think she may have about eight eggs in her nest this year."
