THE Group held their AGM on March 24 in Wythall Village Hall. Members were given dates for the ramble and the outing to the RHS show at Tatton.
The treasurer reported the year had finished in a sound financial position and membership had increased to more than 60. She thanked Roger Hemming for once again auditing the books and announced membership fees and subs would remain the same for another year.
The president thanked all committee members for their unstinting efforts and members for participating in events.
She was pleased to welcome four new members to the committee.
After a delicious American supper, a light-hearted quiz was held. The speaker at the next meeting on Thursday, April 28, will be John Delaney from Birmingham Fucshia Society.
