THE agency that promotes business in the county has put its own staff through a management training course.
After urging other companies to consider training its employees in management skills, the Chamber of Commerce for Herefordshire and Worcestershire has taken a dose of its own medicine and made 15 managers complete the 30-hour Management Matters course.
"I'm hugely impressed that, given the pressures of working, we have so many of out managers actively going through professional development training - this is a real achievement and everyone should be truly proud," said Christine Jones chief executive of the chamber of commerce.
She also presented a certificates to the successful candidates.
Companies wishing to put their staff through this scheme, which is subsidised by Advantage West Midlands, should call 0800 104010.
