A MAN was arrested in Alcester on Saturday after a police hunt across fields.
Officers with dogs searched the area between the A46 and Oversley Mill Park after a getaway car, used in a burglary at the Woolworths store in Stratford, was abandoned by the side of the road.
The 29-year-old man, from Birmingham, was charged and remanded in custody. He was due to appear before mid Warwickshire magistrates in Leamington as police inquiries continued.
