BBC Television's coverage of the General Election campaign kicked off in the West Midlands on Monday and saw the spotlight fall on Kidderminster.
The Shuttle/Times and News offices in Blackwell Street were one of the first ports of call for a special feature on independent candidates following the success of health campaigner, Dr Richard Taylor, at the last General Election in 2001.
The TV cameras also visited Bewdley where phone mast protester Westley Price was interviewed.
The feature was broadcast on the BBC's national Six O'clock News on Monday evening.
