AN 18-year-old man had two teeth chipped when he was attacked by two other men late at night.

The victim was assaulted as he walked from the Watermill pub towards New Road, Kidderminster, near the footpath which leads to the Somerfield car park between 11.30pm and midnight on Sunday.

He was approached by the men, who asked to use his mobile phone. He refused, saying he had no credit.

One of the men then punched him in the mouth, chipping his teeth and knocking him to the ground.

While he was on the floor, he was struck on the hip and ribs with a metal bar, described as a fence railing with a spiked end.

He was then struck by the other man with a glass bottle, which gave him a black eye.

Both attackers were white and aged between 18 and 20. One was wearing a dark jumper with white stripes.
