Chaddesley Corbett beat Sporting Khalsa 2-0 in a mid-week West Midlands League division two fixture at Bloxwich Town's ground.
Peter Begley and substitute Onwerekogza Okendeu were the goal scorers.
Keith Bradley returned to the side and earned the man of the match accolade. Gavin Knight also made an impressive comeback, completely marking dangerman Nathan Glanville out of the game.
Marc Bluck, a former Festival League player, made a promising debut for Chaddesley.
There was less joy for Corbett against Kington Town Reserves on Saturday however as the Longmore men went down 1-0.
Chaddesley dominated throughout but were unable to breach the Herefordshire side's defence and paid the price when their only mistake was punished.
Manager Martin Westcott, whose side host Cresswell Wanderers at 2.45pm on Saturday, said: "I was proud of my players over both matches."
Chaddesley will play pre-season friendlies against League of Wales sides Newton and Connah's Quay as part of their centenary celebrations
