CYCLISTS from the Vale and beyond have responded well to the Blossom Trail Bikeaway, which is to be held this Sunday.
Over 60 keen bikers from Broadway, Worcester and the West Midlands have applied to participate in the annual bike ride and many more can still apply by registering on the day.
The ninth blossom bike ride is taking place to help raise funds for the St John Ambulance in the Pershore.
Cyclists will set off from Wood Norton Conference Centre on A44 between Evesham and Pershore between 9.30am and 11am following a route that continues to follow the Spring Blossom.
Angela Tidmarsh, Wychavon tourism officer and event organiser said: "The response has been good we already have 66 to 65 people pre-registering but more are welcome to register on the day, at Wood Norton Conference Centre. "
Global Situations Limited in Broadway are sponsoring the event and supporting the event is Wychavon District Council and Wood Norton Conference Centre. To take part in the Blossom trail contact Angela Tidmarsh on 01386 710437 or 01386 565373. Entry costs £5 for adults, £3 for children or £12 per family of two adults and two children.
