Chaddesley Corbett signed off their North Mids South Two season with a disappointing 10-7 display defeat at Greyhound - with a performance which summed up their campaign.
Despite dominating possession, Corbett failed to make the most of it and, not for the first time, were left ruing missed opportunities. Matt Helliwell's try, converted by Rowan Vorster, was all they had to show fo rtheir efforts.
The result sees them finish fifth in the league with spokesman Nigel Evans admitting they should have fared better.
He said: "There were a few games we should have won like Saturday and if we had have done we might have finished third so we're a bit disappointed," he said.
