On the junior rugby scene, Kidderminster Carolians under-7s topped a triangular tournament after drawing six tries each with Halesowen and beating Bridgnorth 6-5.
Top try scorers: Thomas Kerrigan (4), Elliot Muprhy (4) and Ben Pinner (2).
The under-10s inflicted two victories over inexpereinced Old Halesonians opponents after playing them at full contact and touch rugby.
Aaron Pooler led the way with four tries with Lewis Hardy, Francesca Short, James Tildesley, Andrew Woodward and Jordan Hatch also on target as they won the full contact game 9-0.
They edged the touch rugby match by six tries to two with a brace for Woodward and Tildesley, Short, Jonathan Taylor and Pooler also scoring.
KCs under-12s produced some brilliant rugby to beat Old Hales 35-14 and showed great passion to draw their second game 7-7.
Craig Wassell and George Tildesley bagged braces in the first match which also included a Sam Buncle try and five Wassell conversions. Sam Taylor scored an opportunist try and converted it himself during the second match.
Chaddesley Corbett under-eights gave a good account of themselves to finish third in a mini-tournament in Nuneaton. They won all of their group games and remained unbeaten all day, only losing their semi-final on the 'first try rule' after drawing 20-20 with Towchester.
Along the way Chaddesley defeated Llandaff North 35-0, beat Hinckley 20-10, and drew 20-20 with Old Saltleians. They sealed a further 35-20 win over Hinckley in the third-placed play-off match.
Declan Hadley was their leading scorer with nine tries.
The under-nines also finished third in their age-group at Nuneaton after beating Old Salts 15-0 in a play-off game.
Along the way they overcame Llandaff North 20-0, defeated Hinckley 15-0 and drew 0-0 with Old Salts in the group stages before a 5-0 semi-final setback against Northampton Old Scouts. Ross Westwood was their top try scorer with six.
