ON April 4 Joan Loftus reported on the skittles match against Dodford which Stone won. The Stone team has won three of the five matches played so far.
Brenda Barrett confirmed the first two dates for the series of walks, and reported on a trip to the Rose Theatre, Kidderminster, to see Me and My Girl.
Muriel Owen gave a report on the food, flower and craft show which will be at the Ramada Hotel, on Monday, May 23, when the group will have three entries.
Beryl Stroud attended the annual council meeting at Malvern.
The guest speaker was Fiona Lucas, on "A Japanese Experience". She talked about taking groups of Girl Guides camping in Japan.
Lesley Grant and Mrs Owen won the Denman Bursary.
The competition for a fan was won by Shirley Gledhill.
The May 2 meeting at the Oaks Community Hall, Mustow Green, will feature a discussion of resolutions, followed by a ploughman's supper.
