ROYAL Mail had to postpone the launch of its Royal Wedding stamps, commemorating the wedding of HRH Prince Charles, The Prince of Wales, and Mrs Camilla Parker Bowles for 24 hours until Saturday, April 9.

The date on the miniature sheet stamps, remained as Friday, April 8 - the original planned day of the wedding - but the stamps were not available to buy until the Saturday, the actual wedding day of HRH The Prince of Wales and Mrs Parker Bowles.

Royal Mail's head of special stamps, Julietta Edgar, said: "In response to the announcement that the royal wedding was postponed it was only right that we issued the stamps a day later than planned".

The Windsor souvenir postmark was made available on April 9 and the stamps will be on sale for 12 months.

The stamps capture the couple in an informal and relaxed mood, enjoying their time together at Birkhall, the prince's Scottish residence in January 2005, and at a public engagement at the Castle of Mey, in the Scottish highlands, taken in 2004.

The stamps, like all other special stamps, have been approved by Her Majesty The Queen.

The last set of royal issue stamps was brought out to commemorate Prince William's 21st birthday, in July 2003.

The Shuttle/Times and News has teamed up with Royal Mail to run a competition where 20 readers can each win a set of the stamps.

To be in with a chance of winning, answer the following question:
