HAVE you got a story about the Second World War that you want to share for a special Worcester News supplement to mark the Victory in Europe and Victory in Japan days?
Veterans and residents in Worcestershire are being urged to share their experiences and let new generations know what it was like to live in the county and survive the battlefields for our country.
Whitehall and St James's Park will host events in July to mark the 60th VE/VJ Day anniversaries and British Forces Broadcasting Service, which broadcasts to present-day soldiers fighting for Britain across the world, will be there too.
"This is probably the last chance we'll have to talk to large numbers of veterans all coming together to mark significant events from the Second World War," said BFBS spokesman Alan Phillips. "We want to hear their stories."
