ANTIQUES experts and TV personalities Henry Sandon and Philip Serrell will be valuing treasures at a collectables auction in aid of St Richard's Hospice.
Hospice event organisers are urging Worcester people to donate any suitable items such as furniture, paintings and clocks to be sold at the big antique and collectables auction and valuation day in July.
They would also welcome smaller collectable items to be sold on the stalls at the event which is raising money for the hospice.
Volunteer fund-raising co-ordinator Anne Besley, who is organising the event, said: "I'm sure there are lots of people who are fed up with looking at the same piece of antique furniture or painting for years but have never got round to moving it.
"Now is your chance. We can arrange collection and any money raised from its sale will go to help care for patients at St Richard's Hospice. We are looking for good quality items which may have lost favour with one person but will delight another."
If you would like to donate an item contact Anne on 01684 592244. The event will take place at Bredon School in Bushley at 2pm on Saturday, July 23. Valuations will take place throughout the day and Henry Sandon will be on hand between 11am
to 1pm.
