A SCHEME to build 13 houses on the Brooklyn Motors site in Newtown Road, Malvern, will go before planners next week.
Members of district council's southern area development control committee are recommended to approve the plan, despite objections from a number of residents.
Among the objections is the impact of increased traffic on local roads, which are said to be at saturation point.
At the same meeting, councillors will be asked to decide on another housing development in Church Road, Malvern Link.
Complete Utilities Ltd has applied for permission to knock down an empty house and outbuildings at 46 Church Road and build a block of eight one-bedroom flats.
Despite objections from local residents about the density of the development, the plan is being recommended for approval by planning officers.
A plan to build three houses on land behind 98-100 Cowleigh Road is also recommended for approval, despite more than 30 letters expressing worries about the scheme.
Also recommended for approval is a plan for a four-storey house at 8-12 West Malvern Road, a detached house next to 32 Longridge Road, changing an office to a house at London Lane, Upton, and converting a coach-house at Glenberrow, Hollybush, to a home.
But a plan to redevelop a garage at Welland Road, Upton, for three houses is being recommended for refusal.
The committee is meeting at Priory Lodge Hall, Avenue Road, at 7pm on Wednesday, April 20.
