I walked off the hills on Saturday morning, along Jubilee Drive past the MHDC car park by the Wyche Free Church and was amazed to see only one car parked on the car park - and that had a Conservators' sticker on.

For the first time I read the parking charges, £2 per day. As most people walk on the hills for considerably less than a day, wouldn't it create more revenue if the charges were per hour or even two hours? Where are all these people parking now or have they given up walking on our beautiful hills?

Surely this isn't cost effective - just a thought.
