THE hit West End Musical Fame is set to be staged at a Midland theatre next week - promising an "all-singing, all-dancing" night of entertainment.
The show, starring two-time Olivier Award winner Barbara Dickson, who has been the leading lady in some of the world's greatest musicals such as Spend, Spend, Spend, will be performed at Birmingham's Hippodrome Theatre.
A spokeswoman for the theatre said: "A talented 30-strong cast rocket through breathtaking dance routines and unforgettable songs in this feel-good sensation."
Tickets for the show, to be staged from Monday, April 18 until Saturday, April 23, cost between £10 and £32.50 and can be purchased by calling the box office on 0870 730 1234.
THE Wolverhampton Civic Hall will host special lunches and dances in memory of those who fought during the Second World War.
The Victory in Europe Day Dance will take place on Saturday, May 7, from noon until 4.30pm and includes a three-course lunch, with tickets costing £8.
