A NEW mobile phone store in Droitwich is celebrating its launch by offering charities the chance to apply for a free phone.
m-viron, in St Andrew's Street, opened at the weekend with entertainment by a stilt walker and a face-painter.
Store owner, Becky Robinson, hailed the open day as a great success and is now looking to do her bit for good causes.
"We were delighted by the number of visitors who turned out to see us on the open day," she said.
"We're confident we will continue to attract new customers by building on the positive relationships that we have already developed in the town, and put something back into the town by helping charities."
To celebrate the opening, m-viron is inviting local charities and volunteer groups to apply for a free Pay As You Go mobile phone.
The most interesting project to write in will receive a Pay As You Go mobile phone as well as a £20 top-up voucher.
To apply, entrants are invited to send suggestions to m-viron Challenge, 23 St Andrew's Street, Droitwich, Worcester-shire WR9 8DY. Entries should be received by Saturday, April 30.
