EVERY parent in Worcestershire is being asked to help improve their children's education by bombarding Prime Minister Tony Blair with letters demanding fairer funding.
The campaigning f40 parents' group, led by Worcestershire's Jonathan Pearsall and Helen Donovan, says our schools are missing out on £10m a year because of the financing system. It is urging people to write to the Education Secretary, Prime Minister and MPs, opposing plans to keep the formula for another three years. Letters should be sent to every parent next week and must be forwarded to the Government before the May 5 General Election.
