A GROUP dedicated to saving the Droitwich Lido says it is sceptical about how a council blueprint for the site will be funded.
Save a Lido Today (SALT) said Wychavon District Council's plans to replace the dilapidated open-air pool with a one-metre-deep heated pool, "beach" area and spa pool should be taken with "a pinch of salt".
Ian Wild, of SALT, said: "The key things are finance, staffing, the temperature of the water and the fact that it would be seasonal.
"We are concerned they haven't been addressed yet."
He said the group was optimistic and hoped to work with the council.
"I think there is a way for Wychavon and SALT to move forward," he said.
The plans can be viewed at the One Stop Shop and the Library and a parish poll has been scheduled for Thursday, April 28, to gauge people's opinion.
