LEFT-back Billy Jones has admitted he is settled at Kidderminster Harriers, despite playing a bit-part role over the last two months.
The 21-year-old defender was restored to the line-up for last Saturday's 2-2 draw at home to Bury and again impressed with his set-pieces.
Jones was left out of the first 11 to make way on the flank for Wayne Hatswell, seen as more of a natural defender.
The January signing from Leyton Orient had been confined to the bench since the February 19 defeat at Shrewsbury Town.
But a spell out of the spotlight has not put Jones off and he would certainly consider staying at Aggborough even if Harriers, who entertain Yeovil today, lose their fight against relegation.
He follows Chris Beardsley and Mark Jackson in committing his future to the club if circumstances allow.
Jones said: "If we stay up, I'd definitely love to stay. But, saying that, even if we went down and things were good here and the club wanted to keep me, I'd still be more than happy to stay.
"The first couple of weeks were quite difficult for me as I was travelling from hotel to hotel. But now I've settled in. My girlfriend and I have got a nice place together and things are going really well.
"She's happy as she's around her family and I'd also love to stay here."
Meanwhile, Reuben Hazell's season has finally been written off without the summer signing kicking a ball for the first team.
The 25-year-old defender has struggled with a knee injury for the whole campaign and it flared up again in reserve action.
Hazell is believed to have a relegation release clause written into his two-year contract which means he could end up leaving anyway depending on Harriers' eventual fate next month.
