IN reply to Ann Stephens (Letters, Saturday, April 9) she is quite correct in suggesting that Prince Charles should give up his succession to the throne.
Both he and Camilla broke their vows with their first marriages, so therefore, they are both adulterers. Prince Charles cannot be the head of the Church of England and Defender of the Faith if he succeeded to the throne.
Just read the Commandment where it states not to commit adultery or covet your neighbour's wife. He should follow in the footsteps of his great-uncle Edward VIII and renounce his succession to the throne of England, and make way for Prince William and live abroad.
As for Camilla wearing white for the ceremony at Windsor Guildhall, I was always under the impression that it was only virgins that wore white on their wedding day.
They both then made vows yet again in Windsor Royal chapel, which was at least being hypocritical in the sight of the congregation and God.
