MORE than 120 people attended the 7th Platinum Awards for Business Excellence at the Malvern Theatres on Tuesday.
The event, organised by Malvern Hills District Council, looks to recognise and reward the diversity of local businesses.
"The awards represent a unique opportunity for the businesses in the Malvern Hills to shout about how fantastic they are," said awards organiser Simon Rusling.
"Often, the innovation and excellence that is right here on our doorstep goes unnoticed, but we feel that it is important to recognise these companies."
The winners were as follows:
Production Excellence - Euroweigh.
Retail Excellence - Roots at Rushwick.
Tourism Excellence - Wycheway Country Walks.
Arts Excellence - English Symphony Orchestra.
Enterprise Excellence - Cameron Engineering and Motorsport Services.
Service Business Excellence - Holland Funeral Services.
Innovation Excellence - Dytecna.
Dytecna also took the overall Business Excellence award, which had a cash prize of £1,000. Category winners took home a cash prize of £500.
