WORCESTERSHIRE endured a bad day at the office as they lost three of their four pool matches at home against Northamptonshire.
The men's 'A' team were narrowly beaten 23-21 in the Inter-County Region Five contest at Suzy Q, with Darren Brace named player-of-the-match.
Elsewhere, Dave Wellings was player-of-the-match in the men's 'B' side 28-16 defeat and Haley Lundberg picked up the honour as the ladies were beaten 25-19.
The youth team gave the county something to shout about after seeing off their counterparts 27-17. Liam Goodman was player-of-the-match.
Worcestershire's next match is away to regional champions Warwickshire on Sunday, May 15.
