ALVECHURCH Parish Council's clerk will be tapping into a totally different career after leaving her post last week.
Bobbie Osborne, who left last Tuesday, said she was ready to return to a full-time career in IT project management after serving on the parish council for about a year.
She said: "I've really enjoyed my time here and have met some lovely people but I'm looking forward to getting back into the business world and facing some new challenges."
Parish council chairman John Puckering said Mrs Osborne would be sadly missed and wished her well in her new career.
He said: "Bobbie is a really nice person and was an asset to the council.
''She did a sterling job and put her best efforts into what is sometimes a thankless task."
