PLANS to build 19 flats and five houses on the site of the former Pioneer Co-op store in Studley could be back on track after a meeting with the parish council.
The plans were rejected by Stratford Council in February because councillors said the apartment building would be out of keeping with the surrounding area and adversely affect the view from Alcester Road because of its height and bulk.
There was also concern about a shortage of parking for residents and it was feared anyone unable to park on site could add to congestion in the area.
But the parish council has now met the scheme's developers.
Parish clerk Dot Mitchell said: "It was a very constructive meeting and addressed many of the issues of concern for the council.
"Extra parking places have been installed and the height and bulk of the building has been reduced.
"We now await the revised application to be discussed at our full council meeting and are pleased the developers have taken account of our views."
The parish council was also initially concerned the location of the homes was inappropriate because of air and noise pollution from traffic.
