WE held our weekly meeting at St Andrew's House Hotel. President John Skilton was in the chair. The speaker was Louisa Trunks, the regional development officer of BIBIC - The British Institute for Brain Injured Children. A vote of thanks was proposed by Rotarian John Bodger.
This year, Rotary Worldwide is celebrating its centenary. The first club in the world was formed in Chicago in 1905. Rotary is the biggest service organisation in the world. The main fundraising events for this year are a boxing tournament at Worcester Racecourse Grandstand on Friday, May 6, and a golf tournament at Droitwich Golf club on Wednesday, July 6.
