MANOR Oak Properties have got it all wrong in Battenhall Road and their proposals are entirely ill-suited for this neighbourhood.
However, they are not the only ones, as recently, two healthy trees were cut down in Battenhall Road near the junction of London Road. These trees were in the Fort Royal Conservation area and should have not been taken down but of course now need replacing.
What is the point of a conservation area if the Transportation Partnership unit takes trees down knowing full well that the city council has almost no money to replace them?
The council's pledge of "Making Worcester a great place to live, work and visit" does not seem to apply to Battenhall Road.
