THE talented manager of a Bromsgrove DIY and garden store will be aiming for the stars today when he auditions to take part in a popular TV talent show.
Rob Postans will hope to impress the judges with his version of the Beatles' Let it Be when he auditions for ITV's song contest The X Factor at the NEC in Birmingham.
Rob, 34, is the manager of Focus in Birmingham Road and goes into the contest brimming with confidence.
Last Wednesday, singing Bobby Darin's Mack the Knife he came a creditable third in another talent contest, this time at the Chicago Rock Club in Stourbridge. He will now go through to the final on May 11.
"I want to thank my fiance Kerry and staff at Focus for cheering me on at Stourbridge and for all their good wishes for today," he said.
