ARTISTIC residents are invited to push the boat out and sign up for a coracle building workshop with expert tuition.
Arrow Valley Countryside Centre is launching a two-day course for anyone wanting to learn how to build a coracle - a traditional Welsh boat used for crossing rivers.
Coracles date back to 1500BC and are so lightweight, one person can carry it.
It will run on Saturday and Sunday between 9.30am-5pm. The course costs £125 and includes expert tuition from Terry Kenny, all materials and tools.
Places on the course are limited and residents should book in advance or risk "missing the boat".
For details, call the Battens Drive centre on 464000.
