A TEAM of Cub Scouts from Welford were out to prove their road safety skills last night when they took part in an annual quiz.
Organised by Warwickshire County Council's Road Safety Unit, the quiz attracted 200 entries from Cub and Brownie packs, with 25 teams making it to the finals.
The Welford team was due to face opposition from as far afield as Nuneaton and Rugby at the grand event held at the Spa Centre, Leamington.
Warwickshire County Council chairman Alan Smith said: "I'm delighted so many Cubs and Brownies take part in this event. Not only does it help them with their badge work but it gives them the chance to learn about important road safety issues."
