WORCESTER City player-manager Andy Preece has ruled himself out for the remainder of the season after breaking his toe.
Striker Preece suffered the break on his right foot during City's 1-0 Nationwide North defeat to Barrow at St George's Lane last Saturday.
The 38-year-old will miss Saturday's home clash with championship-chasing Droylsden, while leading goal-scorer Adam Webster (an-kle), goalkeeper Danny Mc-Donnell (groin) and captain Carl Heeley (ankle) are all minor doubts.
Preece said: "I broke my toe, the one next to my little toe. I must have done it in the first-half against Barrow.
"Had it happened in the middle of the season, I may have carried on playing with an injection. But there's only two games left.
"It's a bit of a blow for me personally. Adam Webster had a rest last Saturday, but he took another little knock on his ankle. We'll have to see how that is. There are one or two ifs and buts.
"We've just got to look at Carl and Danny tonight in training. Hopefully, we can play our strongest side be-cause it's such a big game."
