EVESHAM Mayor Andrew Dyke and Mayoress Wendy Dyke celebrated 400 years of the town charter by cutting into a cake especially baked for the event.
Attending the ceremony at the Public Hall on Sunday, April 3 the Mayor and his wife, Mrs Dyke were joined by dignitaries from Worcester and Tewkesbury.
Everyone at the event enjoyed the cake with the Evesham crest baked by Lawrance L.J & Son Bakers in the High Street.
The ceremony followed a church service held at All Saints church in Market Place celebrating the town charter's role
