APRIL in Paris is showing in April in Stratford this weekend, as part of the Shakespeare Birthday Celebrations.
The Traditional Theatre, an amateur group based in Stratford, are performing the comic depiction of the English abroad at the Shakespeare Centre in Henley Street until Saturday.
Nominated comedy of the year in 1994, it was written by John Godber, who has written Up and Under and Bouncers, as well as Grange Hill, Brookside and The Ritz on television. Call the Shakespeare Book Shop on 01789 292176 or the Civic Hall box office on 01789 207100 for tickets.
