A CHARITY opera night is to be staged at Pershore Abbey next month in aid of two Worcestershire causes.
Pavilion Opera, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, will perform Mozart's Don Giovanni at the abbey on Thursday, May 26.
The performance will be in support of St Richard's Hospice, based in Rose Hill, Worcester, which is campaigning to raise £5.25m to build a new facility in the city, as well as the Three Choirs Festival in Worcester.
Event organiser Richard Spalding said: "There has been a good demand for tickets, but there are still seats available.
"We would like people to come and enjoy some lovely music in Pershore Abbey and help raise as much as we can for the two charities."
Tickets, which cost £40, including a pre-performance reception in the Abbey, are available from Huntingdon Hall box office on 01905 611427.
