MALVERN Theatres second Jongleurs comedy club night had a younger than usual audience roaring with laughter.
Elastic-featured comedian Rex Boyd was the headline act. Bubbling with energy, his very physical performance was downright funny. When he picked three people from the audience to perform a twisted version of Robin Hood, everyone else breathed a sigh of relief that they weren't on stage.
Cheeky compere Alex Boardman immediately clicked with the audience as he performed between acts.
Inda Manocha's wry look at terrorism and life as a British Asian was far removed from Roger D's in-your-face humour but both comics raised laughs.
The Jongleurs comedy nights have brought something a bit different to Malvern Theatres. Long may they continue.
