A landowner is appealing for people who need "affordable" homes to support his application for a residential development on the outskirts of Malvern.
Gilbert Brooke, of Alfrick, wants outline planning permission to build around 70 homes, a large proportion of which would be affordable, on land north of Half Key Road, just off Leigh Sinton Road.
A statement issued by Hamilton's Chartered Surveyors, on behalf of Mr Brooke, says the 1.6 hectare site would incorporate 85% affordable housing.
It says approximately 1,200 people are on the waiting list for housing in Malvern. It is believed that some 200 of these will be accommodated on North Site.
Mr Brooke hopes people requiring accommodation will write in support of his planning application to the district council.
