A TOUR drinking in Malvern's famous water is set to cause a splash with historians in the area.
The annual Malvern Springs and Wells Coach Tour takes place on Sunday, May 1, and visits many of the 100 or so water features around the Malvern Hills.
The coach will leave Belle Vue Island in the centre of Great Malvern at 2.30pm on the day and commentary will be give on board by water experts Bruce Osbourne and Cora Weaver.
They will explain where the water comes from, who built the various fountains and will also give tips on where and how to collect water.
Cups will also be provided for tasting the more popular spring waters.
"On this jolly excursion you'll spot the treasures that have been here for years but which you've never noticed before," said Cora Weaver.
"You'll see some of Malvern's fine Victorian buildings, superb view across the Herefordshire countryside - and on the west side of the hills the delightful and seemingly endless swathes of bluebells."
Tickets, priced £4, are available from Malvern Tourist Information Centre in the town's Church Street or on the coach on the day.
Seats are limited so booking in advance is advised.
