THE future development of Droitwich was the subject of an innovative meeting.
The Just Imagine event invited community representatives, parishes and public agencies to share their visions of how the town should be improved and identify priorities and challenges facing the area.
It was organised by Droitwich Area Local Strategic Partnership, which is made up of community, voluntary and private sector representatives including Wychavon District Council, which has handed over £30,000 to help fund projects that meet the needs of the area.
"This was a great opportunity for a range of people with knowledge of the Droitwich area to sit back and imagine what it could be like in the future," said Cherrie Mansfield, the district council's strategy and review manager.
The event took place on Wednesday, April 20, at Droitwich Methodist Church, Worcester Road.
