WORCESTER Rugby Club's tag and mini tournament proved a good day for Yorkshire.
Sandal collected the Under 11s, U10s and U8s titles while York claimed the U9s prize on Sunday as hundreds of youngsters once again flocked to Sixways.
Hereford impressed by taking the U7s title and also made it through to the final of the U12s before going down to Moseley.
Worcester finished as runners-up in the U11s and U10s tournaments but the day proved a huge success with the officials commenting on the high standard of rugby and the conduct of the players.
Vice chairman of the junior section, John Williams said: "It was a great day and the standard was excellent.
"It was decided this time to have no injury time and a penalty kick-out to decide drawn matches.
"Ironically, Worcester went out in the Under-12s on the kick-out!
"It was very well organised and we'd all like to thank the tournament chairman Andy Carter because the day went so well."
